Kush started to produce music at the age of 14, learnt to DJ at the age of 16 and has been involved with the UK music scene for a long while however in 2007 Kush heard the fresh new funky sound coming out of London and realised his opportunity to take things further.
Together with NB Funky he established ukfunky.com in March 2008 to help push the UK Funky sound to a worldwide audience. In between DJ-ing and producing Kush has had an influential role establishing UK Funky Records to provide a platform for the creme de la creme of the hottest UK talent!!

Plasma has always had a passion for music and started to DJ in 2004, mainly playing old Skool, Grime, Bassline and 4x4.
Having recently been introduced to UK Funky he hasn't looked back and is pushing the sound through his regular mix tape series 'Forever Funky'.
2009 is definitely going to be a big year for Plasma as he continues to remain in the studio making more music, playing out to his local fans and pushing the unique sound offered from UK Funky Records.

DJ RB started dj-ing UK Garage in the year of 1999, after being heavily influenced by Dj EZ, Tuff jam and Martin. As of 2007 RB decided to concentrate his efforts on playing Soulful/Funky House and has since promoted a mix cd series called Funky & Fresh. RB has since linked up with NB Funky and Kush to help push the UK Funky Records brand through his regular radio show on 101.5 Silk City FM and DJ sets in and around the midlands.
The future will see RB continuing to DJ and start producing under the name of Funky & Fresh.

Candy has achieved many things in his career within the music industry, having made numerous TV, magazine and radio appearances, with a highlight being that he won, along with his older brother DT, the Birmingham heat of the Hugo Urban Rules Competition.
Candys transition to the new UK Funky sound hitting the airwaves has been seamless with his smash hit Pull Away, soon to be released by UK Funky Records. 2009 promises to be a great year for Candy, so watch this space!!

Moony a 22 year old producer/DJ from Brighton started with music at a very young age playing garage and eventually progressing onto grime. Since then he started to build a name in the grime scene getting weekly rotation on top pirate, legal and internet radio stations.
After hearing the UK Funky sound, and given his diverse musical background, he became inspired to start producing the music. To date Moonie has already made some big tunes and 2009 has plenty more to offer!!

X5 originally started to gain recognition in 2006 through producing 4x4/bassline under the name X5 dubs.
Hes had numerous number 1 spots on the 1xtra UKG garage charts with his claim to fame being that he knocked T2s Heartbroken off its number 1 spot!!.
